This is the original pattern that started the modern "Big Fly" craze for Muskies! I first designed this fly over 3 decades ago and it's still producing hundreds of fish every year. The Icelandic Sheep Hair wing and Palmer Chenille body blend perfectly together to give this 9 inch fly it's fishy look which attracts Muskies everywhere they exist, it has caught them from Canada to New Mexico and everywhere in between! Now produced with license by Pacific Fly Company, these economical flies are my favorites, especially in the hot summer months and early fall. Lightweight, weedless and easy to cast even on an 8 weight rod.
